What We Believe
We believe there is only one true God who is eternally self-existent as three persons: God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit. (Deuteronomy 6:4, Matthew 28:19)
We believe that Jesus Christ is the Son of God who was conceived by the Holy Spirit, born of the Virgin Mary, lived a sinless life, died on the cross for our sins, and was bodily resurrected on the third day. (Luke 1:26-35, 1 Corinthians 15:3-8)
What does the Gathering of the Redeemed Church believe about the Bible?
We believe the Bible is the fully inspired Word of God and it is the supreme and final authority for all matters of faith and conduct. (2 Timothy 3:16-17)
We believe that salvation is only through faith in Jesus Christ, it is a free gift of God's grace apart from works, and all who repent of their sins and believe in Jesus are born again. (Ephesians 2:8-10, Romans 10:9)
What does the Gathering of the Redeemed Church believe about the Holy Spirit?
We believe the Holy Spirit indwells every believer to empower them for godly living, service, and spiritual gifts like speaking in tongues, prophecy, healing, and miracles. (1 Corinthians 12:4-11, Acts 2:1-4)
We believe there are demonic spirits and forces of darkness that believers have victory over through the authority of Jesus' name and His shed blood. (Ephesians 6:12, 1 John 4:4, Revelation 12:11)
We believe God can and does heal sickness and disease today according to His will and in response to faith. (James 5:14-16, Acts 3:1-10)
What does the Gathering of the Redeemed Church believe about the Church?
We believe the Church is the global body of believers who gather locally to worship God, be discipled, and carry out the Great Commission. (Matthew 28:18-20, Hebrews 10:25)
What does the Gathering of the Redeemed Church believe about eternity?
We believe there will be a final judgment when believers live eternally with God in heaven and unbelievers suffer eternal separation from God in hell.
